The LumaLux Control Box usually takes 5 hours to reach a full charge.

Why Do Some Lights Appear Broken?

Don't be concerned—those lights aren't faulty! The infrared (IR) lights are not visible to human vision, which is why you won't observe them glowing in Mode 1. To verify they're functioning, select Mode 2, where they'll display as blue illumination.

Is it okay to exfoliate before using Reva?

Steer clear of strong chemical or physical exfoliants before Reva use. This covers AHA, BHA, other chemical peels and microdermabrasion techniques. Make sure your face is cleansed and any dead skin is sloughed away using mild exfoliation like a facial cleaning brush, or a gentle facial scrub suitable for pre-Reva application.

Is it necessary to combine Reva with Project E Beauty Aqua Collagen Gel, or can alternative serums be applied?

Although our gel effectively triggers electrical currents, any water-based serum or gel will work. The REP mode will deliver beneficial ingredients deep into skin for better results.

Which skincare ingredients should I not combine with Reva?

Active products that may heighten skin sensitivity—vitamin C, vitamin A compounds (retinol or tretinoin) and acids including AHA, BHA or glycolic acid—should be applied on separate days from your Reva sessions. For intensive skincare like benzoyl peroxide, isotretinoin or other prescribed treatments, consult your doctor or dermatologist before combining Reva into your regimen.

Which skincare actives work well together with Reva?

Reva works wonderfully alongside vitamin E, squalane, ceramides, peptides, glycerin, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide—all thoroughly compatible with this treatment.

Can I use this on my face?

Yes, the device is safe for facial application.

How do I verify that ultrasound vibrations are working?

Ultrasound vibrations may be difficult to detect, but that doesn't mean the function isn't operating. Drop a few water droplets onto the metal applicator tip to observe whether they vibrate.

Does the device produce warmth?

When the RF Radio Frequency setting activates and all probes maintain full skin contact—including the central and surrounding four probes—the system generates heat. Using a slimming serum or moisturizer will amplify treatment results.

Can all three functions operate simultaneously?

Yes! You can run each function separately or blend them all together for customized results. Activate whichever you prefer, and the indicator lights will illuminate.

Is the device compatible with metal implants?

Why is the power indicator flashing in red?

Always perform a skin compatibility test before treatment by holding the skin tone sensor near your skin surface. This step ensures maximum safety and optimal performance.

The device does not respond when I press it to my skin. What's the solution?

The skin tone sensor may not be making sufficient contact with your skin. If activation fails upon application, press the treatment head firmly onto your skin and try once more.

Can I safely spend time in direct sun after an IPL session?

After IPL treatment, stay out of direct sunlight for approximately five days to reduce sun damage and burning risk, as the treatment temporarily heightens skin sensitivity. Always wear broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF protection) when outside to guard against potential discoloration and skin irritation.

Is experiencing warmth and soreness during device use normal?

If the intensity feels excessive for your skin, reduce the power by using the power button to select a gentler level for improved comfort. Before beginning treatment, make sure your skin is completely hair-free by shaving and cleaning the target area thoroughly.

Can IPL technology be safely applied to facial skin?

Selecting the correct setting matched to your individual skin type is crucial for safe, optimal facial results. The area surrounding your eyes requires particular care due to its sensitivity, so we recommend using SmoothPro+ only on zones beneath the cheekbones to avoid eye-related concerns. Position yourself facing a mirror when treating your cheeks, upper lip region, and chin for maximum precision.

Does the pulsed IPL beam present a risk to ocular health?

SmoothPro+ contains a protective mechanism that allows light pulses only when the device maintains firm contact with skin. Refrain from application in the eye region or above eyebrows; eye protective gear is recommended as a precaution. Perform treatments in brightly illuminated spaces to maximize visibility and control.
